There’s always a point during a build where I can’t even imagine finishing the piece, yet, I have to keep going.

These are the last five hours of my scale model build of a giant head sculpture.

Now, imagine it’s built in metal, somewhere in the desert perhaps?

I have been giving myself one hour spurts of 3D strand work per day during weekdays. What started as a rough idea for a sculpture is now looking much more like a real project, and I think I can see what this sculpture wants to look like.
