Azane — Bronze patina on canvas

Ammonia, or Azane is a compound of nitrogen and hydrogen with the formula NH₃. After creating my first Bronze sculpture, I was captivated with the blue Bronze patina obtained with ammonia vapors, so I decided to scrape off this pigment and transfer it to canvas.

Azane is one painting in a series created with nothing but Bronze patina on canvas, it is also my favorite painting in the set.

As of October 2017, Azane remains in my own collection, in Toronto, ON Canada.
