There is a forest in Belgium where magic happens once a year and you can walk through purple flower wonderland. This forest is called Hallerbos, it is located near Halle, a 20 minute train ride away from Brussels, and I was lucky enough to visit it before earth freezes over.
So, what makes the Hallerbos blue? There’s no trickery behind these colors, only a giant carpet of bluebells, a flower that blooms in Mid-April and has a beautiful blue-purple hue. Unlike the Chatillon Car Graveyard (which has been permanently removed) you can still visit this dream forest, the only catch is to NOT step on the blue bells. Pretty simple.
