Here it is! 4 months of cutting, sanding and weldi $Here it is! 4 months of cutting, sanding and welding aluminum tubes cut into a one minute reel for your enjoyment. I loved seeing the axolotl become alive piece by piece, and now you can relive the whole build with me. Im uploading this whole video for future reference onto my youtube. Im going through hundreds of hours of workshop foo

Im going through hundreds of hours of workshop footage from last year. Now that im back in cloudy Belgium, I keep thinking about going back to the desert and getting better at this survival thing.

During the axolotl build, I had the bright idea to weld outdoors during peak Vegas heat (44*C). Other than drinking 4+ liters of water per day, one of the ways I managed to survive was to take multiple “shower breaks” every hour. Here’s one of those SFW shower moments.

Excited to go back to the frying pan, and to invest in a better shade system for the atelier, in the meantime, I’m working on a timelapse video of those 3 months in the metal shop at Left of Center.

The massive skull from @luisvarelarico’s Peso Neto and more of his metal work are on display at @nuwuart —I could spend hours looking at this piece and now so can you!

We were super lucky to see Peso Neto before it headed to the desert and take some shots of it sans sand. I also got to paparazzi @pulgita_mima and Lou standing next to this monument and looking rad.
